MOISTURE ABSORBER
CONTAINER DEHUMIDIFIERS
The most important problem experienced in overseas shipments carried out by container is the high density humidity and condensation (sweating) problem that occurs inside the container due to day and night temperature differences.
This continuous condensation, which resembles a rain environment inside the container, is also called container rain.
ADVANTAGES
Plastix-Gel has a high moisture absorption capacity: In an environment with 90% relative humidity, it absorbs 200% of its weight in moisture.
Clay based dehumidifiers can absorb up to 25-30% of their own weight. Therefore, much fewer units than Plastix Gels are required. This provides you with great savings.
Plastix-Gel is extremely practical to apply with its leak-proof package that takes in humid air but does not release the liquid by turning it into a gel. Clay-made dehumidifiers release the water they absorb back into the container after a while. Plastix-Gel, on the other hand, turns the water it collects into gel and it is impossible for it to release the water back out.
Plastix-Gel packages can be easily applied to the eyebolts on the container walls or onto the load with the hangers they contain.

APPLICATION
We recommend using 6 1 kg Plastix-Gel packages in a 20' container for a 30-40 day shipment.
In a 40' container: We recommend applying 12 1 kg Plastix-Gel packages for 30-40 day shipment.
